The Dimplex PLXe and DTD4T range of panel and convection heaters are modern and efficient electric heaters.Â
Various power output options are available from 500w up to 3Kw and fit naturally into any room. The Dimplex PLX range of heaters is splash-proof for use in bathrooms, comes in white and has a louvred grill. Whereas the DTD4T is innovative and unobtrusive because the unique wall convector is remarkably discreet.
Some say:Â
“Investing in intelligent heating makes perfect sense in an age of soaring energy costs “.Â
Â
The Dimplex PLXe range is a modern and efficient electric panel heater.Â
It has an intuitive backlit LCD with touch-sensitive controls and multiple timers. Adaptive Start pre-heats the room ahead of a programmed heating schedule for precisely the time needed to satisfy the desired target temperature at the expected time. For example, if the product followed a timer set to 21 degrees at 7 am, with Adaptive Start, the product will begin heating before 7 am to achieve 21 degrees at 7 am. Without Adaptive Start, the heater will only begin heating at 7 am.
Open Window detection mode monitors the room temperature while the heater attempts to achieve the desired temperature. Suppose the room temperature does not change or decrease while heat is radiated. In that case, the heater will stop heating and enter standby mode not to waste energy.

The Dimplex DTD4T wall convector heater
Everything about this wall convector heater from Dimplex is unique, from the design to the technical refinements to the connection options.
Innovative and yet unobtrusive, because the Unique wall convector is very discreet.Â
The housing is highly compact, and the surface has been designed to be completely smooth. On a white wall, the heater moves optically into the background, blending into the furnishings and thus becoming a design element instead of a disruptive element. Thanks to the low overall depth of just 10cm, the electric convector can also be installed where little space is available. Yet, that doesn’t affect the pleasant warmth that is nevertheless desired. Like the PLXe, the DTD4T is also suitable for bathrooms because the heater is splash-proof.
Technically, this is a very intuitive and flexible heating option.Â
The desired temperature and daily or weekly settings are easily controlled. The special extras come with the self-learning automatic heating system “EcoStart”. The electronic thermostat remembers the user’s habits over several days to regulate the temperature independently. For example, it is already warm when the residents come home after work, as the device switches on before they arrive to provide immediate comfort. Accordingly, it switches itself off at the learned times, safeguarding costs.
For even greater flexibility, connect your Dimplex DTD4T Heater to the Dimplex Hub and control them remotely via the Dimplex Control app*
Dimplex Hub bridges radio frequency (RF) Dimplex heaters with the Dimplex Control Cloud server. Group heaters into zones to easily control and track their usage anytime and anywhere.
- The Hub creates a radio frequency network that Dimplex products can join
- Permits connected Dimplex products to send and receive commands
- Quick setup using the Dimplex Control app step-by-step wizard
- Each Hub can connect up to 20 devices
- Enables you to monitor energy usage with the Dimplex Control app
- The Hub connects via Ethernet or Wi-Fi

Energy Control System Panel Heater Receiver DCU2R
This receiver is part of the Energy Control System and receives a signal from the Hub. It is plugged into Dimplex panel heaters, and the control is intended for use through the App. However, you can still manually change the temperature on the unit.
